Dean Thomas Expert by Experience

Dean Thomas is an expert by experience. With over 30 years of personal experience directly employing personal assistants through the Independent Living Fund and then through direct payments, Dean has also worked as a disability sports development officer, a direct payments officer and has undertaken a number of voluntary roles.  

He also competed at international level for over a decade in the sport of Boccia, he took part in three Paralympic Games and several European and World Games, winning a handful of medals along the way.
