Could you learn from Bexley Council and its approach to Making it Real & ISFs?

Bexley Council have triumphed in getting an Individual Service Fund offer in place for people living in Supported Living. 

Members of our National Co-production Advisory Group have supported this move by sharing information on Making it Real at an event with providers contracted to offer ISFs, council workers and people with lived experience.  

They showcased how the two 'vehicles' for person-centred care  can work together to improve quality of care alongside offering people more choice and control in how they want to live their lives. 

Each theme within Making it Real was explored.  One participant, who has a Learning Disability, was supported to talk about Wellbeing and what it means to her on a practical level. Here’s what Jill said in her presentation on wellbeing. (opens new window)
