The acclaimed programme aimed at Health and Social Care leaders interested in cultivating empowered and healthy communities is back.

Integration and prevention are two areas of social care reform which face problems - both financial and cultural, but there is compelling evidence for the value of strong and inclusive communites for addressing these challenges.

The Programme

The Leadership for Empowered and Healthy Communities programme will share best practice in leadership skills for people who want to be part of a movement for change and reform in social capital using a person-centred approach

The course runs from June 2015 -Jan 2016, and consists of five one day workshops as well as one-to-one leadership coaching sessions.

Who should attend the programme

Applications are invited from senior leaders and operational leaders.

Programme organisers and supporters

The programme is a joint venture between Association of Directors of Adult Social Services (ADASS), Think Local Act Personal (TLAP), Skills for Care, National Skills Academy, Department for Health, Local Government Association and the NHS Thames Valley and Wessex Leadership Academy.
