Partner organisation Disability Rights Uk have recommended Confident Commissioning as essential reading for anyone interested in commissioning practice involving Disabled People's User-Led Organisations (DPULOs).

The report, researched and produced by the South East Network of Disabled People's Organisations (SENDPO) introduces a choice of commissioning interventions and offers case studies intended to inspire local areas to develop new partnerships or cultivate existing ones.

At a time of significant economic challenges in adult social care, it is essential that we learn from the experiences of Disabled People's User-Led Organisations (DPULOs) to help with developing efficient, effective and essentially person-centred care.
