100,000 more people set to benefit from personal health budgets 

A change in the law means that 100,000 more people will have the right to a personal health budget. The change comes into force on Monday 2 December and will benefit people eligible for an NHS wheelchair and people who require aftercare services under section 117 of the Mental Health Act. Find your local CCG.

New report by Social Care Future

Social Care Future aims to reframe the way social care is talked about, understood and valued. Its new report is intended to stimulate debate amongst organisations interested in changing social care. Read the report: Talking about a brighter social care future.

Association of Mental Health Providers, focus group on 13 Nov 10-12pm

TLAP partner AMHP is running a focus group for people living with mental illness and ‘frailty’ – someone less able to cope and recover from accidents, physical illness or other stressful events.
