Affinity Trust

What our organisation does to support people with care and support needs:

We provide a range of care and support services for approximately 1000 people with Learning Disabilities in the UK.
As an organisation we are committed to developing an authentic Individual Service Fund (ISF) option for the people we support, to ensure that people can have maximum choice and control in the design and delivery of their support. The ‘My ISF plan’ will be co-produced between Affinity Trust, the person supported and their family or circle of support.
Quality Checkers (experts by experience) employed by Affinity Trust will be involved in monitoring the quality of support delivered by Affinity Trust to the people

What we will do to Make it Real

As an organisation we are committed to developing an authentic Individual Service Fund (ISF) option for the people we support, to ensure that people can have maximum choice and control in the design and delivery of their support. The ‘My ISF plan’ will be co-produced between Affinity Trust, the person supported and their family or circle of support.
Quality Checkers (experts by experience) employed by Affinity Trust will be involved in monitoring the quality of support delivered by Affinity Trust to the people supported, and also helping to measure ‘quality of life’ outcomes being achieved via the ISF arrangement.

Each of our pilot sites will have a local steering group to co-produce the development of ISFs on a local level, and we expect to involve our Quality Checkers in this. We are working towards understanding how ISFs can be used for different types of support so
