Leadership for Empowered and Healthy Communities

Added on

The Leadership for Empowered and Healthy Communities (LEHC) programme gives you all the tools you need to create change now.

This innovative programme is aimed at senior leaders and clinicians across health, social care and beyond. The programme will help you to explore how to grow and nurture capacity in local communities to improve health and wellbeing and ensure better outcomes for people living with long-term conditions, disabled and older people.

The programme consists of:

  • Five face to face workshops (one residential)
  • Three webinars
  • One to one coaching sessions
  • 360° feedback
  • Myers-Briggs (MBTI) facilitated feedback of leadership style

The programme is now recruiting to its seventh cohort, which starts on Thursday 27 September 2018. Over 160 people have taken part in six previous cohorts, including many citizen leaders. Places are in high demand, with every cohort being oversubscribed.

Sharpen your leadership skills
If you want to enhance your skills to create fundamental and radical change across health and social care, this is for you.

Working together
The programme is a joint venture between the Thames Valley and Wessex NHS Leadership Academy in partnership with Coalition for Collaborative Care (C4CC), Skills for Care, the Local Government Association, Think Local, Act Personal (TLAP) and the Associate of Directors of Adult Social Services.

Since 2015, LEHC has been part of the C4CC work programme and members of the TLAP and C4CC Co-production teams are heavily involved in the design and delivery.

Deadline 14th September.
