Covid-19 videos to support people with a learning disability to understand the changing landscape in relation to the pandemic.

What was your response to Covid-19?

People were getting stressed with the volume of information and were struggling to sort fact from media hysteria. We created a source of reliable, accurate and accessible information for people using easyreads and Photosymbols.  

We opted to do daily videos located on our You Tube channel because we could control them more easily.

What was different about this approach?

The videos were teh main difference; as well as sharing guidance we also tried to answer questions that self-advocates sent us, share good news and keep people connected.
