Think Local Act Personal Partnership Event - October 2019

One year on from the launch of the new Making it Real, there have been many successes worth celebrating. However, the gap between the rhetoric of the Care Act and the reality of people’s lives remains undeniable. This meeting provided an opportunity for us to consider the changing environment, to hear about new initiatives and to discuss and share ideas about how as partners, as TLAP, we can work together on the many challenges ahead.        

The day's agenda

Our meeting kicked off with a provocation from members of our National Co-production Advisory Group, followed by lightning talks from TLAP partners on some of the good work being done.

Olivia Butterworth from NHS England told us everything we need to know about Primary Care Networks (PCN’s). Dawn Plimmer, from Collaborate CIC, talked about the work they are doing to support public sector organisations to tackle complex social challenges and their new publication.
