Constructive conversations in adult social care - 16th October

A fragile care market and the challenges in social care means that it has never been more important to have constructive conversations across the sector between providers, commissioners and people who use services.

Think Local Act Personal (TLAP) and the Local Government Association (LGA) will be hosting a free event to support this ambition.

The purpose of the day will be to understand the different perspectives and promote more effective partnerships with a focus on care homes with/ without nursing or other housing with care.

When: Tuesday 16th October 2018 – 10am – 3pm

Where: Conferences at BVSC, 138 Digbeth, Birmingham, B5 6DR

Who for: Senior social care commissioners; owners and managers of social care provision – particularly care homes; people & carers who manage personal budgets or individual service funds; local user-led organisations.

We welcome a range of organisations to attend and people who can make a difference to shaping services locally. Therefore we would encourage you to liaise with your partners before registering. Providers and commissioners please invite each other, and people who use your services.

This event is being hosted by TLAP and LGA, in conjunction with:
