Dilnot's Fairer Care Funding Report: response from the Think Local, Act Personal Partnership.
The Think Local, Act Personal Partnership welcomes the Dilnot Commission's Fairer Care Funding report published earlier this month. We expect the government to provide the leadership the issue now needs and create a lasting settlement fit for the 21st century.
National Personal Budget Survey results released by Think Local, Act Personal
2,000 Personal budget holders and carers took part in the biggest national Personal Budget survey to date, giving us the clearest picture of how personal budgets are working and where the system can be improved.
Update from the Think Local, Act Personal Partnership
Prominent citizen leaders Sue Bott and Bill Davidson have been elected as co-chairs of the Think Local, Act Personal partnership - the consortium of 33 leading health and social care organisations working together to transform adult social care through personalisation and community-based support.
Councils meet 30 per cent target for personal budgets
A third of all people eligible for social care support are now receiving a personal budget, with half of those received by people over the age of 65, an ADASS survey of 153 English councils has found.
