Adult Social Care and Local Partnerships in the South East March 2009-2011
The Adult Social Care and Local Partnerships Team has been the Department of Health presence in the South East since 2009. During this time, the team has provided support, advice and facilitation across a range of programmes, linked to the implementation of health and social care policy. The team has worked with a range of partner agencies and contributed to the South East Joint Improvement Partnership's large work programme. Regional networks have been built and many of these will now move forward as self sustaining groups, still sharing good practice and working together to improve practice.
While each locality will have its own resources, many locality staff have looked to the regional team to guide them to good sources of information. As the regional resource, in its current form ended at 31st March 2011, we have wanted to ensure that the body of knowledge built up by the team and by contributors from across the region is not lost. These resources are located in the History Section and we hope that people find them of use.
