The North East held a series of three learning events for senior officers and elected Members from local authorities and health organisations across the North East region
This project will deliver a series of three learning events for senior officers and elected Members from local authorities and health organisations across the North East region between April 2009 and March 2010.
The focus of the events will be to raise awareness amongst the political leadership and health colleagues of the transformation and personalisation agenda and in so doing, providing a clearer understanding of the capacity issues associated with the change.
Through participation in the events of senior managers, there will the opportunity for Lead Members to further their understanding of local arrangements and it will also enable informed discussions of particular localities issues that may arise in discussions.
The events saw presentations from the North East ADASS, IDEA, Department of Health and others.
The key themes from the second and third events were captured by graphic artists and will be used in staff training and promotional work across the region.
