Person Centred Approaches
Below you can find the report on how we are doing at person centred approaches across the region. As you will see we have some really good practice but quite a few things that we need to work on to get where we would want to be. The report is based on information from local areas.
What's happening in the East Midlands
To start the process of development a meeting was arranged for the local authority PCP leads and Personalisation or SDS leads to come together to agree some common ground and joint actions. This meeting took place on 28 October 2009 and was particularly useful as the PCA guidance is now delayed as it is being amended nationally for form a piece of Putting People First guidance. A summary of the meeting is available below.
