Nottinghamshire's Self Funders Project

The costs of supporting people in care homes who have previously self funded and require local authority support is a significant expense. A project in Nottinghamshire has helped self funders to make the best use of their capital so they are able to pay for their care for longer. This is likely to save the local authority over a £1m a year.
