Your views matter - The Care Act one year on.

Added on

One year on from the implementation of the Care Act 2014, TLAP wants to hear about the experiences of people with care and support needs to find out what difference the Act is making.

Is it easy to get information and advice? Do people feel they have choice and control of their care and support? These will be some of the questions asked in the TLAP Survey Your views matter - The Care Act one year on (working title).

The results of the survey will be used, alongside information from councils and others to help the Department of Health identify problems and workable solutions to inform future work on the Care Act.

The survey will be launched in early September for one month. TLAP is well placed to carry out the work with the breadth of our 50 + partners and stakeholders to help us access people in need of care and support.

But time is limited and we need as much help as possible to make sure we have a good response rate. Can you help?

Would you be able to carry a link to the survey via:

  • website,
  • e-newsletter,
  • social media,
  • share the information through word of mouth.

We are also looking for opportunities where groups of people could be supported face to face to complete the survey.

Please let us know now if you will be able to help by emailing sara.zmertych@tlap.org.uk by Wednesday 10th August with the subject heading, ‘Your views matter’.
