Co-production in social care: What it is and how to do it

Co-production is a key concept in the development of public services. It has the potential to make an important contribution to all of the big challenges that face social care services.

The Social Care Institute for Excellence (SCIE) have launched a joint guide on what co-production is and how to make it work. The guide, produced jointly with TLAP, helps explain approaches to working with people who use services and carers. It is aimed at managers and commissioners, frontline practitioners and people who use services and carers.
