As partners in NHS England's Integrated Personal Commissioning (IPC) Programme, TLAP are contributing valuable learning into programme design and tailored support to 'Demonstrator' sites implementing a new model of integrated care that empower people and communities.

As part of this commitment, TLAP are delighted to have appointed Richard Watts to shape and lead our contribution to IPC, supported through funding from NHS England.

Richard was most recently Programme Lead for Mental Health at the National Development Team for Inclusion (NDTi). Prior to this, he was National Lead at the Office for Disability Issues for a Ministerial programme building the capacity of Disabled People's User-Led Organisations.

Richard Watts says: "The Integrated Personal Commissioning programme is a chance to realise the potential of what health and care can and should look like in the future. I'm very much looking forward to contributing to the programme and working with colleagues who feel and know things can be better."

Sam Bennett, TLAP Programme Director, says: "I am pleased to warmly welcome Rich to the team where his role will be integral in connecting our learning as a partnership to the future development of personalisation in the NHS. I know Rich will bring valuable skills and experience to this task and look forward to working with him on this important agenda"
