Clenton Farquharson, TLAP's co-chair and National Co-production Advisory Group member has received an MBE in recognition for his work in helping to widen understanding and implementation of best practice in social care. Clenton draws upon twenty years practical experience and theoretical study in all aspects of equality, diversity, inclusion and accessibility.

In accepting his MBE last week he said:

"Receiving the award from the queen was a very proud moment for me and my family and friends. The only regret that I have is that my mum could not be there to witness it because of her health condition, but I know she is very proud. That includes the TLAP family, especially NCAG members, I could not have done this without the support of so many people. I would just like to say thanks for being in my life".
