Reminder to apply for the System Leadership - Local Vision programme

Added on

Following on from the success of the first round, the System Leadership - Local Vision Programme is calling for fresh applications to take part in the second round.

The programme allows areas to find new ways of working to deliver integrated services and achieve measurable improvements in health, care and wellbeing. It does this by spreading the role of 'leader' across communities and individuals so that it is practiced collectively - system-wide- rather than by specific people by virtue of their employment status i.e. authority or position.

There have already been 25 groundbreaking projects around the country ranging from pilots to improve safeguarding for adults and children to reducing alcohol abuse.

Funding for prospective projects stands at £1.5m and has been pooled by partners to the programme which includes Think Local Act Personal (TLAP), Association of Directors of Adult Social Services, Association of Directors of Public Health, Department of Health, Local Government Association, NHS Confederation, NHS England, NHS Leadership Academy, Public Health England, Social Care Institute for Excellence, The National Skills Academy for Social Care, Think Local Act Personal, Virtual Staff College and the Leadership Centre.
