New Co-production Adviser joins TLAP

Debbie Turnbull has joined TLAP as the new Co-production Advisor.

Debbie brings with her a wealth of experience having spent over 25 years working in the health and social care sector.

Having begun her career as a social worker, Debbie has worked in the areas of development and quality, most recently as Project Manager for Skills for Care where she has been responsible for developing national standards, learning and qualifications for the adult social care workforce in England.


Debbie has also spent time at Leonard Cheshire Disability, Scope and Wakefield Metropolitan Council. Her roles have involved providing advice, information and support to disabled children and adults, their families and carers, as well as establishing and maintaining community links.

She has extensive senior strategic, policy and operational management experience and a proven track record working on major national initiatives in adult social care.

TLAP Director Lynda Tarpey said of the appointment; "Debbie's expertise combined with her obvious personal commitment to the aims of TLAP will prove a real asset to our partnership."

National Co-production Advisory Group members Martin Yates and Sally Percival said; "We are really pleased to be able to welcome Debbie to the TLAP team as our new co-production advisor and look forward to working with her."
