The Children's Society, in partnership with the Princess Royal Trust for Carers, have supported the development of the first National Young Carers Forum for England. Members of the forum have made a DVD called Listening to Young Carers, in which the young people talk about the issues they face and share solutions that will help improve their lives. - Support planning and brokerage for older people and people with mental health difficulties

Undertaken for The Think Local, Act Personal Partnership by In Control and the Centre for Disability Research at Lancaster University, the survey aimed to identify the outcomes and experiences of people using personal budgets - and those of their family carers - so the adult social care sector can build on the positives and better understand what improvements are needed.
