  • East Midland Reablement Evaluation Tool (EMRET) and Report for Cost Benefit of OT in Reablement

    Report for Cost Benefit of OT in Reablement and Person Centred Ladder by Zaid Latif, Nottingham City Council The East Midland Reablement Evaluation Tool (EMRET) was produced to provide a baseline for the evaluation of reablement services across the region. It was produced following recommendations made at a meeting organised through the East Midland Region - Care Services Efficiency Delivery programme.

  • Examples of Efficiency

    The 9 local authorities are continuing to work with CSED to deliver efficiencies throughout the East Midlands. The work will focus primarily on reablement services and will develop further the initiatives that were delivered in phase 1 of the efficiencies project, with projected savings of approximately £17m.

It offers a genuine alternative to long term residential care and can deliver significant efficiency savings.
