    The Department of Health published Living Well with Dementia - A National Strategy in February 2009Following the launch of the national strategy, the Joint Improvement Partnership, NHS East Midlands and Department of Health established a collaborative programme "We're in it Together". At the heart of this process were people living with dementia and together with commissioners, the third sector and local providers across health and social care began a process of improving outcomes for people living with dementia and their carers.
