- North East Quality Standards in Non-regulated Services
This project will develop quality standards for non regulated services to provide a regional framework and a consistent approach for commissioners, service users, family carers and care managers to monitor service improvements and maximise efficiencies. The Quality Standards Framework will complement all Councils monitoring and reviewing functions with a strong focus on service user and carer involvement and personalised outcomes as core determinants of quality, reliability and effectiveness.
- North East Autism Consortium
The North East Autism consortium (NEAC) will drive forward the modern commissioning of care and support services for people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders and Asperger syndrome. This will be achieved in two ways:Via the delivery of the actions plans of the 4 sub regional Autism Service Development Groups (ASDG) developed from stakeholder events in 2008, which will lead to the creation of modern, cost effective and individualised services for people living in our region.
