Wessex Care are a small family run group of Nursing & Specialist Residential homes, located in the heart of Salisbury, South Wiltshire. Each home has its own unique character and provides outstanding, personalised service and care.
We are specialists in nursing, dementia and protected living care, provided in boutique establishments (under 30 beds) with welcoming ,safe, relaxed and homely environments which promote our ability to deliver highly individual and tailored care support so that residents can lead a fulfilling, comfortable and enjoyable life.
Maintaining a very high standard of care by recruiting and retaining excellent staff is extremely important and enables us to deliver consistent services to each of our homes and ensure everyone receives the care and attention they deserve. Our passion and priority in everything we do, is the welfare of our residents and their families.
All Wessex Care homes aim to provide residents with a secure, relaxed and homely environment. The care, well-being and comfort of our residents is of prime importance to us.
Carers will strive to preserve and maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all residents within a warm and caring atmosphere, and in doing so will be sensitive to the residents ever changing needs.
Such needs may be medical or therapeutic, cultural, psychological, spiritual, emotional and social. All residents are encouraged to participate in the development of their individual care, in which the involvement of family and friends is greatly valued.
This will be achieved, in accordance with each individual’s needs and wishes, through a range of different programmes and activities designed to encourage physical independence, mental alertness, self-esteem and social interaction based on our core values of care, which are fundamental and intrinsic to the philosophy of our homes.
