Making it Real - Birmingham City Council case study

Birmingham City Council was one of the first councils to pilot Making it Real. In this case study, Melanie Gray, Performance Management Officer in the council's Adults and Communities Directorate, explains how they got started, including:

• Setting up a service user led Quality Board
• How they chose their three priorities from the "I" statements
• How they developed an action plan.

Melanie describes Making it Real as way of making "real change" happen, rather than just going through another paper exercise.
