The challenge of the National Market Development Forum (NMDF) is to facilitate a greater choice of affordable, locally available, responsive services that people want. We have a series of products that aim to help improve the effectiveness of market relationships between people who use services, providers and commissioners.
The NMDF, which includes workforce dynamics, is a work stream of the Think Local Act Personal Partnership. Chaired by Bill Mumford (CEO MacIntyre and Chairman of Voluntary Organisations Disability Group), the group considers how to facilitate many of the outcomes set out in Making it Real.
