A lot has happened for the Dragons and the Participants since the Dragons' Den event at the end of January 2011. We invited 2 of the pitching participants to the ADASS Spring/Summer seminar in Newcastle to pitch again directly to the DASS's - they are now starting to build new projects.

- Dragons' Den
On 28th January 2011 at the Guardian offices in London, we held a Dragons' Den style event for 8 organisations that had developed successful approaches to building community capacity. The aims of the event were two-fold:To successfully raise the profile of community capacity building as an essential not optional aspect of the future development of social care in the UKand To help identify a set of approaches that are effective, feasible and applicable across a range of different local authorities.
