Organisations supporting this project include:
- In Control
In Control is a social enterprise that was set up to transform the current social care system into a system of Self-Directed Support. Its mission is now to create a new welfare system in which everyone is in control of their lives as full citizens. In Control has over 120 local authority members that are working to change their systems.
- Stamford Forum
The Stamford Forum is a partnership and works with individuals and organisations wanting to explore 'thorny' issues. Since December 2007, the Forum has been working alongside five local authorities to try to discover the short, medium and long-term trends that are affecting services for people with learning disabilities and how these are being addressed by local authorities and their partners.
- Office for Public Management (OPM)
OPM is an independent centre for the development of public services. They provide consultancy, coaching and research to organisations that want to improve social outcomes, meet the needs of their communities and respond to change. OPM works with organisations in local and central government, health, social care and children's services, the police and community safety, education, the media, the voluntary sector, research, regulation and commerce.
- Centre for Inclusive Futures

The Centre for Inclusive Futures seeks to promote more inclusive communities in which disabled and older people are valued as equal citizens, pursuing initiatives on policy, organisational and community development.
