Service development

This series of case studies shows how market shaping and development work with service providers is enabling specialist services to respond better to people's choices. They also include examples of work with universal and commercial services to enable greater use of and contribution to these services by users of adult social care.
Across the learning community and beyond we have found examples of service development (specialist and non-specialist) that help build or sustain social capital and demonstrate co-production.
These case studies include:
- Approaches to provider and market development which build and use stronger community connections, encourage social enterprise and integrate a range of public services
- Examples of mechanisms to connect people to community opportunities
- Innovative approaches to primary prevention
- Innovation in the provision of information and advice
- Work with universal and commercial services e.g. leisure.
