Evidence and Evaluation

Many people in the field of community development and capacity building know instinctively that what they are doing works. Through talking to individuals and seeing how communities can be transformed through this work, it can be uplifting experience and it is what inspires many of us to continue. But, in the current financial environment, how can we make the case to funders to keep on supporting these initiatives? How can we prove that social capital creates better outcomes for people, and how can we measure these outcomes?
